Important Notice: Temporary Pause on Imports of Copper Cookware
Due to recent changes in U.S. tariffs on imported metals, we have temporarily paused imports of our copper cookware.
In August 2025, the United States imposed a 50% tariff on imported copper products under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act.
On April 2, 2026, a Presidential Proclamation restructured how these tariffs are assessed, broadening their impact.
Our customs broker has advised us that, under these rules, cookware made of stainless steel or aluminum (such as our Opus Prima collection) is subject to a 25% tariff, while cookware made of copper (such as our Historia and Opus Cupra collections) is subject to a 50% tariff.
For our Italian-made copper cookware, these tariffs represent a significant increase in import costs – one we could only offset by raising prices substantially.
Rather than pass that increase on to our customers, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily pause these imports.
The copper cookware currently in our U.S. inventory remains available at its current price. We will not be replenishing this stock while the pause is in effect, so once an item sells out, it may be unavailable until imports resume.
To help you plan, we've added low-stock notices to individual product pages and curated a dedicated low-stock page so you can quickly see which Ruffoni may be nearing sellout.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding, we look forward to resuming imports when conditions allow.
