US Pricing & Tariffs Update
We want to keep you in the loop as new U.S. import tariffs begin to impact the cost of our products.
What’s happening?
The U.S. has introduced or increased tariffs on a number of imported goods, including cookware. These changes are evolving rapidly, and while we’re doing our best to monitor the situation, everything shared here reflects what we know at this time—and is subject to change without notice.
How it affects us
Our cookware is made in Italy using high-quality raw materials and crafted by experienced, fairly paid artisans. Because of this, we don’t operate with large margins. So when import costs rise significantly, we unfortunately need to share the burden with our customers.
As of now (April 14, 2025), our understanding is that our Stainless Steel Cookware (Opus Prima and Symphonia Prima collections) is affected by an additional 25% tariff on steel and aluminum imports. The U.S. Department of Commerce is reviewing the tariff treatment for copper.
What this means for the price of your Ruffoni cookware
We hold a limited amount of inventory in the U.S., which should allow us to maintain current pricing through the end of May and our beloved Spring Sale.
Starting in June, we anticipate a price increase, though the exact amount and specific items affected is still being determined.
We’re committed to keeping you informed and appreciate your understanding as we navigate these changes. Thank you for your continued support of our small family-run business!
